The Municipal Workers Retirement Fund (MWRF) is pleased to provide an update on the implementation of the two-pot system and the resulting disbursement of funds to its members.

To date, R241 139 052.07, has been successfully paid out to members. This reflects the Fund’s operational capacity to execute the legislative frameworks governing pension fund disbursements. Furthermore, a total of 8 192 individual members have received these disbursements. This metric underscores the system’s capacity to provide tangible financial access to a substantial portion of the Fund’s beneficiaries.
