MUNICIPAL WORKERS RETIREMENT FUND

Municipal Workers Retirement Fund (MWRF) is a defined contribution Fund which provides members and their dependants with reasonable and competitive retirement, resignation and risk benefits (death-in-service and disability benefits). The Fund was established in 1994 when South Africa embarked on its journey to a new democracy. The Fund currently has 25 000 membership.

ABOUT THE FUND

The objective of the Fund is to provide retirement and ancillary benefits described in the rules for Members and their dependants and / or beneficiaries. The Fund remains rooted in its main objective of protecting and creating wealth for members and their dependants.
